The late Pat J Bresha touched many lives in the Town of North Castle. His selfless devotion to our community and his love of the fellow men and women were most evident and exemplified in his long term service as Deputy Supervisor and councilmen, and in his leadership in the Armonk Lions club. Pat’s untimely death in the m midst of his most active years was a sad day in the community. In his honor and memory, the Armonk Lions Club established the Pat J. Bresha Community Service Award years

This Award is made each yea to the citizen of North Castle who best exemplified those cherished ideals by which Pat lived and served the community. Simply stated they are:

CARING: An Interest in concern for people, friend’s family and community

COMPASSION: A respect for the needs of all individuals, regardless of color, creed or ethnic background.

INTEGRITY: Support for what he believed to be right, with courage for independent action;

MOTIVATION: Pursuing goals with a spirit of his fair play and competition

HUMOR: The ability to rise above the stresses of life, maintain healthy perspective and

smile, even in the face of diversity.
